Born and raised in Minnesota, Jackie has always had an interest in photography.

However, it wasn’t until she started traveling in 2013 that she truly found her calling as a photographer. In 2014, she began exploring and photographing the north shore of Lake Superior, capturing the rugged beauty of the landscape and the ever-changing moods of the lake.

When she discovered the wild horses of North Dakota in 2016, she truly fell in love with photography. Captivated by the grace and power of these magnificent creatures, Jackie spent countless hours photographing them in their natural habitat, trying to capture their emotion, light and movement in her photos.

Jackie believes that photography is not just about capturing a moment in time, but also about conveying emotion and telling a story. Through her photography, she aims to capture the essence of a place or a subject, and to transport the viewer to another time and place.

In 2022, Jackie was thrilled to join Gallery Equus where she can share her work with a wider audience and continue to explore new subjects and techniques in her photography. With her keen eye for detail and her deep love of nature and wildlife, Jackie is sure to continue producing stunning and evocative photographs for many years to come.
