Join us as we celebrate our 8th Anniversary and present an exhibit that pivots our gallery in a new, exciting direction! Gallery Equus is broadening our subject matter with a new branding, “Wild In Spirit,” that encompasses a broader range of wildlife and landscapes alongside the wild horses of America! We will always represent the iconic wild equids, but now more of their friends have come to play!
Come take a look…it’s WILD in here!
We will be celebrating with new art, live music, snacks, drawings for giveaways, and artists at work on current pieces.

Art-A-Whirl is the largest open studio tour in the nation, and it happens in Northeast Minneapolis! It’s a great opportunity to tour private artist studios and galleries, connect with hundreds of artists, and purchase original artwork.
This event is free and open to the public.

Art in the Hollow | Where Art and Nature Combine

Come join us for Art in the Hollow! The first Saturday of June, every summer, the woods and trails of Swede Hollow Park come alive with art, music, and community for one glorious day before returning to their natural beaty for the rest of the year.
One of our objectives is to make art festivals affordable and accessible to artists at all levels of experience and walks of life. We have open registration and low booth prices. The result is a diverse and plentiful event with usually over 150 booths.
The day also includes live performances, kids’ activities, food trucks and plein air painting. The event is free to attend and open to the public!

2026 Red Wing Area Studio Tour

Explore the arts and the area during the free, weekend-long Red Wing Area Studio Tour!
This annual event is presented by the Anderson Center and Red Wing Arts. This July, 30 artists across 10 locations invite the public into their studios to see first-hand the vibrancy and range of creative work in the Red Wing area. This scenic river town has earned a reputation as an artistic community, featuring public art, performances, and galleries more commonly found in cities many times its size. On this self-guided studio tour, visitors can see demonstrations, visit private studios overlooking the Mississippi River Valley, and experience a wide range of artistic styles and media that include painting, sculpture, ceramics, photography, jewelry, and textiles.

Flock Artfest 2026
Friday | August 21 | 12-7pm Saturday | August 22 | 10-4pm
Flock Artfest will take over Bayfront Festival Park on August 21 and 22, bringing a vibrant weekend of art, creativity, and community to the shores of Lake Superior.
The two-day festival invites attendees to browse original work from a wide range of talented artists, watch live art being created, and take part in hands-on art classes and interactive experiences. Families are encouraged to attend, with activities for all ages, including a dedicated Kid Artist Tent designed to inspire young creatives.
In addition to the art, guests can enjoy a variety of food trucks, beverages, and beer and wine offerings available throughout the event, making it easy to settle in and enjoy the waterfront atmosphere.
Whether discovering a new favorite artist, creating something by hand, or simply soaking up the creative energy, there is something for everyone at Flock Artfest.
